Below are items that are always in need, and are used directly in the care and comfort of our animals. More urgently needed items are noted in bold. Updated: June 2009
Please note: We have plenty of towels and blankets at this time. FOR DOGS:
- Lamb and Rice Dry Dog Food
- Wet Dog Food (Oakland only)
- Dog toys, especially Large Kongs, but also toys for fetch.
- Wall Plug-ins for Feliway or DAP
- Clean Nylon or Leather Leashes (new or used)
- Kuranda Dog Bed
- Large, portable dog crates/kennels, like Vari-Kennels.
- Plastic Poop Bags
- Grizzly Salmon Oil Supplement (supports healthy skin and coat)
- Dry Dog Food Storage Containers
- Velvet Bimples, marrow bones, nyla bones or other edible bones/chewtoys
FOR CATS:
- Dry Cat and/or Kitten food (prefer Premium Edge or Professional Brand)
- Wet Cat and/or Kitten food (not shredded or chunky)
- Heating Pad disk for Kittens, Puppies and for sick animals.
- Cat toys - no feathers or small parts (hard plastic toys that can be easily disinfected are great)
- Cat toy wands / interactive
- Cat Brushes
- Lint Rollers
- Carpet Samples
- Dry Cat Food Storage Containers
FOR OUR VET CLINIC:
- Pulse Ox
- Warm water heating blankets
- Pee pads
- Heating pads
- Bath size towels, baby blankets
- Doppler: used to measure blood pressure
