Be Prepared!
Are you prepared the next time your pet has a medical emergency? Often the difference between life and death can be what you can do for your pet right away, before you reach a veterinarian or a pet ER. |
There is no 911 for pets, so the East Bay SPCA wants you to be prepared. Enroll today by mail or enroll online for Pet First Aid, taught by trainer Lisa Clifton-Bumpass CPDT, CTC from Pawsitive Steps Dog Training, LLC. Future classes will be held:
- Sunday, April 6th in Dublin, noon to 4:30 pm
- Sunday, May 11th in Oakland, noon to 4:30 pm
A knowledge of pet first aid gives cat and dog owners the skills necessary to tend to unexpected emergencies and to monitor their animals' health. This class will teach the basics to pet owners to provide care until they can get their pet to a veterinarian.
You'll learn how to respond to a wide range of animal emergencies, from dressing a wound to performing CPR to preparing pets for natural disasters.
Class size is limited, so sign up now! For more information, call our Oakland Adoption Center at 510-569-0702, or email training@eastbayspca.org.
