Animal Camp 2012

Grades 6-8 Registration

Animal Career Camp
Is working with animals your child’s dream job? If so this is the camp for them! Campers will have the opportunity to listen to a variety of professional speakers with animal related careers and meet their animal companions. While we are still working to secure all our guests for this summer, traditionally we have had speakers form Goats R’ Us, The Marine Mammal Center, Guide Dogs for the Blind, Pet Food Express, ATF, Search and Rescue, a veterinarian and others! Interactive lessons will also help to develop their knowledge and experience with the critters they love so much. This camp is designed to provide direction and resources for students who wish to work with animals but just need a little help paving their path to their dream career. Daily animal interaction is included, with both shelter and therapy animals.

Animal Behavior And Training Camp
Think like an animal! This camp is designed to focus on the training and behavior of companion animals. Campers will discover how animals learn, how they communicate and to evaluate the behaviors of both dogs and cats. We will utilize the dogs and cats in our care equally for campers to work with and train. Daily activities covering basic animal care are also included. No prior training or experience needed for this camp.

The Animal Behavior and Training Camp is sold out for this year. Thank you!

Cancellation Policy
I agree to pay tuition fees set forth by this form. I understand that a refund minus a $25 cancellation fee will be provided if notice is given two weeks prior to session start date. No refunds will be granted with less than two weeks notice of cancellation. I understand that the East Bay SPCA can not transfer a camper’s enrollment to a different session. If I need to enroll my camper in a different session than originally registered for, I will need to request a refund (less the $25 fee) and register my camper for the new session myself.
