The East Bay is celebrating World Spay Day by spaying/neutering 75 owned animals in Alameda and Contra Costa counties! We are deeply committed to solving the pet overpopulation problem through high-quality, affordable Spay/Neuter Centers.

All surgeries will be performed at: East Bay SPCA, Oakland Spay & Neuter Surgery Center at 410 Hegenberger Rd.
To qualify for this free service, you must:
- Have proof that you live in Alameda or Contra Costa County. A current Driver's License or California ID with an Alameda or Contra Costa County address on it is acceptable.
- Only owned dogs and cats qualify for this program. We will not accpt animals from rescue groups, foster organizations, shelters or stray/feral animals.
- Only surgery related procedures as well as Rabies, DH2PP, FVRCP vaccinations are free. Microchipping is $10, other treatments or procedures (pregnancy, hernia, crytporichid, etc.) are at the owners expense.
